For Admission in 2018


Mainstream P6 students may apply for admission into Crest Secondary School directly if they have passed the 2017 PSLE and are streamed to Normal (Technical). 



How Do I Apply?


Please submit the Application Form to Crest Secondary School, together with photocopies of the applicant’s Birth Certificate and PSLE Results Slip. The deadline for submission is 12pm on 28 November 2017 (Tue).

  

All applicants will be informed on the outcome of their application via post and SMS by 14 December 2017 (Thur). Applicants may also contact the school at Tel: 68992779 to enquire on the outcome of their application, if they do not receive the letter or SMS.  


Note: Students who are applying for admission into Crest Secondary School will still be required to participate in the Secondary One (S1) Posting Exercise to opt for their SIX choices of mainstream secondary schools. Successful applicants will not be posted to a secondary school by MOE, while unsuccessful applicants who participated in the S1 Posting Exercise will be posted to a secondary school by MOE and will receive their school posting results on 21 December 2017 (Thur).



Sec 1 Registration


Successful applicants shall report to Crest Secondary School with their parent/guardian for Secondary One Registration on 22 December 2017 (Fri) at 8.30 a.m


Successful applicants who meet Crest Secondary School’s household income criteria may also apply for its School-Based Financial Assistance Scheme (SB-FAS) during the Secondary One Registration. The SB-FAS provides needy students with free school textbooks and stationery, school uniform, shoes and socks, waiver of school and standard miscellaneous fees, and daily meal and transport subsidies. Students on SB-FAS may also receive additional financial assistance from the school periodically, subject to contributions by donors.


Appeal for Transfer / Admission into Crest Secondary School 


For P6 students

P6 students who wish to make an appeal for transfer or admission into Crest Secondary School can do so from 22 December 2017 (Fri). The Appeal for Transfer / Admission Form, together with photocopies of the Birth Certificate and PSLE Results Slip, are to be submitted to Crest Secondary School by 27 December 2017 (Wed).


Admission into Crest Secondary School is subject to availability of vacancies. All successful applicants will be notified by 29 December 2017 (Fri). If vacancies are not available by then, your child/ward should report to the secondary school that MOE has posted him/her to, while awaiting the outcome of the appeal.


For secondary school students

Interested applicants who are currently enrolled in a Normal (Technical) course, may submit the 

Appeal for Transfer / Admission Form, together with photocopies of the Birth Certificate, PSLE Results Slip and Secondary School Results Slips, to Crest Secondary School. 


Admission into Crest Secondary School is subject to availability of vacancies. All successful applicants will be notified by the school. If vacancies are not available by the end of the semester, your child/ward should report to his/her current secondary school, while awaiting the outcome of the appeal.
