JOB DESCRIPTION
Teacher (Physical Education)
Responsibilities:
To equip students with the knowledge and skills in Physical Education through the conduct of engaging lessons, in both indoor and outdoor / field-based settings.
To set up equipment in preparation for PE lessons and NAPFA tests.
To supervise students during PE lessons and ensure that students' safety and well-being is looked into.
To check and ensure PE and Sports equipment are in good working condition and are safe for use by students and staff.
Plan and arrange for logistical support for level- and school-wide activities organised by the PE Department e.g. Level Camp, Cross Country etc.
Requirements:
Teaching qualification from National Institute of Education (NIE).
Possess a passion for Sports and Health-related activities.
Positive disposition in helping N(T) students develop as confident and purposeful individuals.
Able to build rapport with students in order to motivate and encourage them to pursue a Healthy Lifestyle.
Strong sense of integrity, personal drive and initiative, commitment and team spirit.
Caring, responsible and driven.
Have a positive mindset and is able to receive feedback constructively.
Teacher (English Language) and Teacher (Art)
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons that equip students with knowledge and skills, using innovative pedagogy and authentic learning experiences.
Design meaningful and relevant teaching resources, including assignments, performance tasks, and ICT-based innovations.
Assess students’ learning and track their academic progress closely.
Provide targeted remediation and after-school support to help students make steady progress.
Manage classroom learning effectively and ensure a positive learning environment.
Serve as a Form Teacher to facilitate Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) and provide quality pastoral care, working collaboratively with parents, school counsellors, and relevant agencies.
Plan and conduct co-curricular activities (CCAs) to nurture students’ character and leadership.
Support department operations (e.g., programme planning, events coordination, procurement, inventory, and facilities management).
Customize lessons and support for low-progress learners and students with special educational needs (SEN).
Requirements:
