Subject Based Banding (SBB) Information for Parents
Find out if your child qualifies for SBB and submit the Option Form by 23 December 2025 to confirm their subject level for Secondary 1.
After the release of the Secondary 1 Posting Results, parents of eligible students will be notified if their child qualifies to study one or more subjects at a more demanding level. Eligibility is determined based on the AL score obtained in the corresponding PSLE subject. Students in Posting Group 1 who are eligible may choose to accept the offer to study one or more subjects at the G2 level.

Parents are required to submit the SBB Option Form to either accept or decline the offer. This ensures your child is assigned to the appropriate Secondary 1 Teaching Group.
