When I joined Crest in 2022, I struggled. I missed most of the year. In 2023, I started again with new classmates and teachers, but life got harder due to family issues. My teachers and counsellors guided me with care and helped me rebuild my confidence. Crest gave me strength and belief to start over and succeed.— Rihanna Isma Binte Muhammad Ismail, class of 2025
Joining Crest came at a difficult time. My family faced financial struggles, and in school I often felt like an outsider, lacking confidence, afraid to speak up, and struggling to stay motivated. From the start, Crest provided a safe space where I felt supported and valued. The teachers were patient and truly cared about my growth. With their steady encouragement, I began to find my voice. Over time, I learnt to manage my emotions, communicate confidently, and take initiative. The challenges at home remain, but now I have the resilience and mindset to face them while staying focused on my goals.— Siti Huraira Binte Abdul Rahman, class of 2025
When I started my secondary school journey, family struggles often left me unsettled and distracted. In school, I found it hard to cope with lessons, manage my behaviour, and keep up with my peers. I lacked confidence and sometimes wondered if I could really succeed. Crest, however, gave me strong and consistent support. My teachers and Student Support officers guided me with patience and care, never giving up on me even when I was at my lowest. They helped me improve academically, set meaningful goals, and discover my strengths, especially in culinary arts. One of my proudest moments was winning the Crest Master Chef 2025. Crest became a safe space for me to grow, learn from mistakes, and rebuild my confidence. I have become more resilient, disciplined, and determined to take charge of my future. Through the guidance and care I received here, I learnt to believe in myself and trust that I can succeed.— Joseph Pah Yi Bin, class of 2025
