Studio R @ Crest : Transforming Futures Through Digital Skills

Studio R is launching a dynamic 6-month programme on 30th March, 2026 that is designed for participants who have just graduated from secondary school, and have completed their N-levels and interested in returning to education via ITE. We have designed a  baseball jersey as Studio R's uniform which symbolises teamwork, perseverance, and shared goals. Just as baseball players strive to reach home base, Studio R guides students through the bases of their educational journey, aiming for life’s ‘home run’. Our curriculum focuses on industry-relevant digital skills through three ITE Skills Subjects (ISS): Retail & e-Commerce (ReC), Internet of Things Applications (IoTA), and Mechanical Design & Automation (MDA).

Retail & e-Commerce (ReC)

• Advanced selling techniques and customer service excellence

• Digital marketing and social media management

• Inventory management and retail operations

• Visual merchandising and retail space design

• Customer relationship management

Internet of Things Applications (IoTA)

• Network infrastructure setup and management

• Sensor configuration and deployment

• Smart device integration

• IoT system development and implementation

Mechanical Design & Automation (MDA)

• Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) using Autodesk Fusion 360

• 3D modelling for product and component design

• 3D printing and digital fabrication techniques

• Designing and assembling basic automated systems integrating design with practical manufacturing processes

The programme consists of 4 stages (4 bases) which reflects the 4 Rs Philosophy

• Stage 1: Reboot (Positive Schooling Experience)

• Stage 2: Recondition (Study habits, Self-Perception, Self-Efficacy)

• Stage 3: Restore (Confidence, Interest, Drive and Motivation)

• Stage 4: Rejoice (Celebrate Progress and Success)

Eligibility & Application

• Age: 17-20 years

• Eligibility: Students who have completed N-levels but are currently not enrolled in post-secondary education institutions in the immediate year upon graduation

• Commitment: Full-time, 6-month programme
